WHO IS LAW AID?
Law Aid is a non-profit charitable trust that funds disbursements in civil litigation matters undertaken by law firms and counsel on a pro bono and “no-win, no-fee” basis.
As a charitable trust managed by the Law Institute of Victoria and the Victorian Bar Council, we support various forms of civil litigation cases including:
Personal injury claims
Claims against institutions involving discrimination or oppressive behaviour
Professional negligence claims
Wills and estates claims.
Law Aid aims to provide access to justice for all Victorians.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between individuals who cannot afford legal costs and the legal practitioners who are willing to help.
