The Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity (LCD) was formed by concerned lawyers to answer the call for diversity in the Connecticut legal community. Our current challenge is to increase the recruitment, retention and promotion of diverse individuals, not only as good social policy, but also as good business practice. The mission of LCD is to unite the resources, energy and commitment of the State’s leading corporations, public sector entities, law firms, law schools and state bar associations in the joint mission of making Connecticut a more attractive place for attorneys of color and women to practice law and find satisfying professional opportunities.
LCD’s membership is exceptional. In partnership with our members, we are able to provide a wide variety of programs and events throughout the year to share thoughts and experiences that will foster authentic engagement and a more diverse and inclusive legal community.
