Layback Retreats is a boutique retreat experience based in Sri Lanka, built around the laid-back lifestyle of surf, yoga, skate, community, and conscious travel. Founded in 2017 and entirely self-designed by its founder, Layback is more than a place to stay. It’s a creative, communal space where people from around the world come to connect, recharge, and share meaningful experiences by the ocean. We offer curated weekly retreats that combine surf coaching, daily yoga, skate, healthy food, social activities, and meaningful connections. All set in a vibrant, tropical setting. With two unique locations, a rooftop café, coworking spaces, and a passionate team of 40+ staff, Layback blends authenticity and comfort with a love for the ocean and a deep respect for local culture.
