In August of 1994, our founder, Mark Layton, started a company that has literally shaped the landscape of cities along the Pacific Northwest. Our family company grew from a small basement operation to a leading glass consulting firm under Mark's leadership until his sudden passing in 2015. Today, Layton Consulting Ltd. (LCL) has two offices, the main location in Langley, British Columbia, and a branch office in Calgary, Alberta. We continue to carry on Mark's tradition of providing quality engineering coupled with exceptional customer care by adhering to our founding principles.
We are mainly a specialty structural engineering firm providing services primarily to the exterior cladding, curtain wall, glass and building component industries. We also have staff who are NFRC-certified to provide thermal modelling services for all types of fenestration systems.
