About LCBC: Center for Lifespan Changes in Brain and Cognition

LCBC’s research goal is to understand brain and cognition: how they change throughout the entire lifespan, and how we can optimise them. We aim to explain, predict, and promote cognitive function from birth to old age. The key is to investigate the great variation in brain and cognition within and across individuals we believe is longitudinal studies. These are studies that follow people over many years. We also look at how brain and cognition is affected by risk factors and transitions into clinical conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.
