The Lebanese Center for Water and Environment

The Lebanese Center for Water and Environment (LCWE) is a certified non-profit organization (Recognition No. 261, dated 26/2/2019) committed to advancing sustainable water and environmental management across Lebanon. Recognized by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, and in agreement with the Ministry of Power and Water and the Ministry of Environment, LCWE brings together over 30 years of expertise in water resources, agriculture, environmental science, and socio-economic development. Our multidisciplinary team—comprising experts with Master's and Doctorate degrees—conducts scientific research, provides consultancy services, and supports public and private sector initiatives to conserve natural resources and enhance climate resilience. LCWE focuses on a wide range of topics including: Water resource assessment and management Environmental impact studies Groundwater and surface water studies Climate change and agriculture Socioeconomic analysis GIS and remote sensing applications Natural hazards and geology We regularly organize training workshops, capacity-building programs, and collaborative research projects to support sustainable development and policy-making in Lebanon.
