The Leaders Development Institute (LDI) at the Ministry of Sports was established in 1976 as the cornerstone for the development and advancement of the sports sector in Saudi Arabia. It contributes to building a comprehensive ecosystem aimed at enhancing the efficiency of sports professionals and promoting excellence in the field. Vision: Enabling excellence in the sports sector. Mission: Supporting the development of individuals and organizations in the sports sector through education, innovation, and professional standards enhancement. LDI is working on: • Issuing sports professional licenses and certifications, and accrediting training programs related to the sports sector. • Providing training courses, workshops, and specialized forums to develop skills across various sports disciplines. • Supporting research and innovation to drive progress in the sports sector.
