LE Mushroom began in mid 2022 during the economic consequences after 2 COVID years. In the heart of an Inner West suburb, there was a little house with some beds of mushroom spawn mixed with straws and hardwood waiting to be generated. We, the directors, Logan and Hermione has fallen in love with mushroom since 2020 after our first mushroom picking trip in the state forest in Oberon. We failed miserably though as we mixed the edible mushrooms with the ones that we were not sure in the same bag. Therefore, we had to throw the whole bag. We decided to spend the next 1 year doing thorough research so we will never have to waste our whole 3-hour drive trip ever again. The more we researched, the more interesting things we found. We came up with the idea to deliver edible wild mushrooms to everyone without fear of poisons or psychoactive effects. Just go with us and you will be fine! During the same period, both of us were looking forward to raise our own business using our own last name “Le”. Also, as a nurse, Hermione myself wanted to find something contribute to human’s health from organic and natural resources. I always looked for healthy diet and I fell in love with mushrooms, one of the best natural ingredients providing tons of nutrients to people. Since then, the idea of LE Mushroom was born. Just like how the mushroom form its mycelium underground, we started building our business for the next 3 years while keeping our full-time jobs. Even at the hardest hours, we tried our best to be innovative so we could offer the highest dried and fresh mushroom quality in our local area and then expanding that quality to Sydney and whole Australia. Today, we as the directors, combined with the strength of our expert teams continue to reseach innovative ways to deliver the highest quality mushroom products to Australia households. Through our thorough research and improving skills, LE Mushoom continues to spread the Mushroom Love.
