Words from the founder - Aishleen Lester
Before becoming a jewellery designer I trained at the Royal Academy of Art and went on to create large-scale sculptural installations which are held in private collections. I was commissioned by Selfridges to make an installation for their “Wonder Windows” and showed in a number of galleries including Riflemaker (London) and Nyehaus (New York).
I realised that jewellery allowed me to make miniature sculptures that didn't need a gallery or public space to be seen - they could be worn, today, tomorrow and tomorrow's tomorrow. As an artist it doesn't get better than that.
