Latinos En Acción (LEA)

Our purpose is to advocate for Latino rights, such as citizenship and representation, while empowering and creating community within the Latino population on campus. We are a chapter of United We Dream and hope to collaborate with other organizations at AU to create awareness of minority issues. We strive to prepare and mentor young high school students of Latino identity for higher education and future success. Throughout the year, we hold monthly general body meetings to plan and discuss events and service opportunities. We also hold fun social events centered around Latino culture for our students here at AU.
