Leadership Development Solutions is the first advisory firm specialized in retained direct executive search for top executives which was ever established in Romania and, as such, is considered to be the founder of the retained search service industry in this country. The company was established in Romania in 1994, by its former strategic ally and global partner, Korn/Ferry International. In 2001, Korn/Ferry International Romania SRL – as it was named at the time - went through a management buy-out process, changed its name into Leadership Development Solutions and became a 100% private company owned by its management. Leadership Development Solutions' core competency is in delivering premium quality retained search services, management and leadership-potential assessment services, as well as corporate governance and board advisory services for mid-size and large businesses established in Romania. In 2014, on its 20th anniversary, Leadership Development Solution has founded the first leadership development platform ever created in Romania, The Leadership Alliance (www.leadershipalliance.ro).
