Leadership Macomb is the ultimate platform for bringing private, public and nonprofit sectors together to experience the county, connect and collaborate with each other, and become engaged locally and beyond.
Since 1996, over 700 leaders from numerous organizations and diverse backgrounds have graduated from the core program. Each year, a cohort of approximately 50 individuals experience unique, educational sessions from September through June. During this time, the group meets for 11 full day sessions and delves into the assets and issues facing Macomb County. Sessions are developed by subject matter experts and include proficient speakers, panel discussions, introspective exercises, and exclusive field trips combining for a unique learning experience that cannot be duplicated anywhere.
The results are extraordinary. Graduates emerge eager to make a difference in Macomb County. Whether it's the organization they represent, the community as a whole, or personal fulfillment, everyone reaps the benefits of the Leadership Macomb experience.
