Lead India Foundation (LIF) is a national movement inspired by the visionary dream of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to transform India into a developed nation by nurturing the power of youth. Rooted in the belief that nation-building begins with character-building, we are committed to empowering children and youth aged 10–18 with values, life skills, and leadership capabilities that drive real change. At the heart of our work lies the Prof. Sudarshan Acharya – Kalam Human Transformation Model, a unique framework designed to awaken self-belief, responsibility, and purpose among students. Through this model, we promote the core values of Integrity, Innovation, and Patriotism, cultivating a generation of socially conscious and self-driven citizens. Our flagship initiative, "Aap Badho Desh Ko Badhao (ABDB)," is a life skills and values-based program that instills confidence, resilience, and ethical leadership in students. The program encourages young minds to set personal goals, think critically, and contribute positively to their families, communities, and the nation at large. Since 2004, we impacted over 1.8 million students across 7000+ schools, with the involvement of 6000+ teachers and 3000+ principals in 51 districts across 9 states. This large-scale transformation has been made possible by our dedicated team of trainers, volunteers, educators, and supporters. As we move into the future, Lead India Foundation is evolving into a professionally managed, transparent, and accountable institution, aiming to build a scalable and sustainable ecosystem for youth development. Our mission is not just to educate, but to ignite a sense of purpose and leadership in every young Indian, enabling them to become compassionate problem-solvers and global change-makers.
