Simon is a private company investor and experienced non-executive director. He currently acts as an independent consultant working with venture capital funds as well as advising founders on fundraising strategy and approach.
Over the past decade alone, Simon has invested over £100m in 180+ transactions at VC firms Pembroke VCT plc and Active Partners. Notable transactions include LYMA, Plenish (exited), Hackney Gelato, Pasta Evangelists (exited), KatKin, ME+EM (exited), TALA, Popsa, and Thriva.
He have served as a board director to multiple companies including Troubadour Goods and Alexa Chung. Prior to his roles in the venture space, he spent three years as a corporate finance advisor, working on buy and sell-side mandates in the mid-market TMT sector.
