Complex Development Projects (CDP) is working in partnership with Warwick District Council to deliver an ambitious 10-year Creative Quarter initiative to regenerate the Old Town of Leamington Spa.
The vision of the masterplan is to create an inspirational environment that allows the burgeoning creative economy in Leamington Spa to thrive. The regeneration programme will include start-up and grow-on space for gaming and digital businesses, as well as new spaces for an exciting arts, cultural and community events programme. The various strands will be brought together through improved public realm and wayfinding, working closely with other public sector partners, and injecting vibrancy into the south of town.
The first phase is underway comprising the conversion, refurbishment and extension of three derelict buildings at Spencer Yard, including a Grade II Listed former church, to provide much-needed digital creative office space.
The second phase comprising the regeneration of a derelict former pub, school and car park site, is currently under consultation with a planning application expected to be submitted in the spring. The Stoneleigh Arms and Old School
