Facebook COO シェリル・サンドバーグ氏による著書 "Lean In" では、女性が野望を持ち、挑戦することを訴えています。そこで、実際に女性に行動を起こしてもらうために作った団体がLean In.org。このLean Inのサークルの一つとして、この理念に共感し、社会を少しでも変えていきたい！と考えている人で構成されるサークルです。
Lean Inサークルは、自主運営・非営利団体組織で、定期的にメンバーが会い、活動をすることで、お互いを支え合うことを目的としています。世界中で24,000個以上のグループがあり、それぞれが活動をしています。
