Lean In at Wayne State University

Lean In at Wayne State University is a community empowering women to be vigilant in pursuit of their dreams, in and outside the workplace. We are a chapter of the international organization Lean In, originally founded by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg. As a whole, we hope to inspire women to take initiative in all aspects of life and create their own opportunities if what they seek isn't available. Monthly awareness events in the form of panels and workshops aim to shed light on important issues women face today, and place emphasis on skills that are necessary for every leader to be successful.
