In the digital age we live in, knowing programming has become almost as essential as knowing how to read. When we teach children to read and write, to add and subtract, we actually teach them the methods by which to interact with the world around them. Thus, CoderDojo Brașov, comes to the aid of students through free programming workshops held by volunteers with experience in the IT field.
‣ Who are we?
CoderDojo Brașov is an NGO and is part of the international CoderDojo
movement, initiated in Ireland in 2011 with the aim of providing interested
children with the context in which they can learn programming in an
informal and fun environment.
Children's participation is free, and all those involved (mentors,
organizers) are volunteers. The workshops take place online, on
weekends, during a school year.

Registrations for children have closed, but we invite you to fill out the

‣ How to participate as a mentor?
Anyone who is passionate about technology and shares the spirit of
CoderDojo can be a mentor. The role of a mentor is not the same as that
of a teacher.
