Learning Tokens

Human education is vital in this age of AI. Unfortunately, students lack motivation, teachers feel overwhelmed, and employers struggle to hire talent. We must re-engage students, improve assessment processes, and connect skills with jobs. But how? Entrusting learners by following the age-old wisdom - “Measure what you treasure, and treasure what you measure.” We tokenize education by registering detailed learning processes in various teaching environments. Learning Tokens are a currency of expertise that itemize the account of knowledge, skills, and values in lifelong learning profiles. We harness proofs of competency to nurture talent, make sense of educational content, promote collaboration, and guide learning to the treasure of our collective human intelligence. Our project is a Hyperledger Lab at Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust (LFDT) in partnership with the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC). Over the past year, as part of the Hyperledger Mentorship Program 2024, we developed an open-source tool to empower our communities bit.ly/4bRJivy. Our SDK allows organizers to gather information from Zoom Meetings, create Skill Wallets, and mint and transfer Learning Tokens for participants and speakers. For Internet-scale learning, we use GenAI to convert any YouTube videos into learning opportunities. We invite you to our upcoming webinars and open-source community.
