Learning Through Loss (LTL), is a registered charity, that designs and delivers grief education and loss support programs to youth, and provides training to other youth-serving community to increase capacity to support young people through difficult times.
Loss includes any life-changing event, such as:
- Death of a parent, family member or friend
- Parent's divorcing
- Moving to a new home, school or country
- Break up of a relationship
- Loss of mental or physical health
- Cultural identity and language loss
- Any other event that disrupts a youth's daily life routine
We envision a community where all youth, and those that support them, have access to education, support, and resources relating to grief, loss and healthy strategies for healing.
