Leaseful is the first peer-to-peer marketplace for college subleasing, enabling students to monetize their unused rooms and book their own medium-term accommodations. Students nationwide are forced to sign 12-month long leases, despite only being at school for part of the year. They continue to pay rent on their rooms, an unused asset, whenever they leave school. Leaseful enables students to safely & simply sublease their rooms to other students, while addressing a gap in the accommodations market for medium-term stays. We created Leaseful with the belief that students deserved a better way to sublease: a platform that eliminated the uncertainty that came with posting on Craigslist, and a way to improve on the limited success that came with advertising through friend referrals.
