Lease On The Block is an open source govtech software that creates digital leases for the preservation of affordable housing units and provides tools for the local tenant communities to organize. The digital lease becomes a unique central source of truth and historical record of the finances, maintenance, claim records correlated to these units. This data gives tenants and advocates the leverage they need to advocate for justice in the event that the landlord fails to comply with the established housing laws. -Local community work -Data collection and digitization of affordable leases.
