Overlooking the idyllic Wirral Peninsula coastline, Leasowe Castle is a 16th century property, located just a 20-minute drive from Liverpool City Centre. Acquired in May 2015, the historic property has undergone an impressive £3 million rebrand and refurbishment to give the venue a new lease of life, whilst restoring and enhancing its rich and colourful heritage. The emotive new branding also pays homage to the area’s iconic resident rare bird breed, the oystercatcher, which has become a highly-anticipated sighting amongst nature enthusiasts and the general public alike. Likewise, the ‘so’ taken from ‘Leasowe’ is being emphasised to build a narrative as part of the brand’s genuine persona and descriptive tone of voice. In a bid to position the castle as a dining, drinks and events destination, an interior overhaul has been completed throughout the property including the in-house restaurant, Brasserie 1593 and Wreckers Bar & Lounge. In addition to providing 47 fully refurbished rooms, the venue is also home to The Star Chamber, Castle Suite, Turret Suite, Tower Suite, Margarets and The Keep – which are ideal for both social , weddings and corporate functions.
