Litehide

Leatherteq Limited has developed and patented an innovative product known as Litehide™. Litehide™ is a salt free preserved skin, delivered in a dehydrated state thereby eliminating the entire upstream salt issue whilst allowing tanners to retain their art of tanning to produce quality leather. The Litehide™ process can be used across a wide range of hides such as bovine, ovine, as well as exotic skins. Litehide™ has already been independently proven by leading leather research institute to be more environmentally friendly and with substantial cost benefits over traditional methods of preservation.
