In 2000, a Professor at Brock University, a Public Health Nurse and a Campus Nurse received funding from the Ontario government to create an innovative tobacco control program designed to reduce smoking on 6 campuses. Over 19 years, Leave The Pack Behind expanded province-wide to provide life-changing age-tailored programs, offered through innovative campaigns for all young adults.

Leave The Pack Behind creates and environment that supports and inspires all young adults to live their best life, tobacco-free
What we do:
1. Help young adults access free quitting methods that work, when they're ready
2. Advocate for healthy, smoke-free spaces
3. Disrupt the social acceptance of cigarettes, and alternative tobacco products
4. Build and share knowledge about how to help young adults avoid and quit smoking
Leave The Pack Behind is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and is housed at Brock University in St. Catharines, ON.
