Lebanon Enterprise Development Project - LED

WHAT IS LED? The Lebanon Enterprise Development (LED) is a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that aims to increase jobs for Lebanese citizens. LED offers customized technical assistance to local businesses to help them identify and solve the problems that are preventing them from increasing sales, and therefore needing to hire more Lebanese. LED also works with stakeholders and partners to identify, analyse, and propose solutions to problems that are affecting the business enabling environment. WHERE DOES LED WORK? LED works throughout Lebanon with a central office in Beirut. Regional business promotion partners, Berytech and The Business Incubation Association in Tripoli (BIAT), provide coverage in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, Bekaa, North Lebanon, and South Lebanon through a network of Business Advisors. WHY SHOULD I APPLY? LED may be able to assist your business to identify and solve the problems that are preventing it from growing; with a focus on helping to increase exports to new and existing customers. For companies accepted as LED “client enterprises”, LED will offer customized technical assistance (consulting support) that is defined in partnership with you, and for which you will be asked to share a percentage of the TA cost. WHO CAN APPLY? Any small, medium, or large Lebanese business can apply for LED assistance. LED can support businesses in almost any sector, including but not limited to agriculture/agro-industry, manufacturing/industry, ICT/media, services, tourism/hospitality, and other sectors.
