LEDlab - Light Emission Distribution Laboratory

LEDLab is the largest Luminaire Performance Testing Laboratory in Australia. LEDLab has two goniophotometers, photometric bench, three integrating spheres, needle flame and glow wire chambers, IP dust and water chambers, tracking test chamber, two high temperature draught-proof thermal rooms and one low temperature room as well as ovens, environmental chambers and necessary instrumentation. LEDLab has recently combined two separate NATA registered photometry laboratories into the one at Hornsby staffed by experts in the field. LEDLab works with EMC Aspects Pty Ltd to supply EMC Test Reports. PHOTOMETRIC Testing - NATA Accredited - LM79 Total luminous flux and colour by goniophotometer or sphere methods. - Emergency lighting classification C and D. - MEPS testing of filament, fluorescent and LED products. ELECTRICAL SAFETY (NATA Accreditation coming) - Electrical Safety – AS/NZS60598. - Thermal - Construction - Needle flame and glow wire - IP testing - Tracking EMERGENCY/EXIT LIGHTING TESTING - NATA accredited - Electrical Safety – AS/NZS60598.2.22 - Photometric classification C and D.- AS 2293 - Exit Light luminance and colour – AS 2293 - ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY EMC VEET and IPART (ESC) Testing - NATA Accredited - LM79 - Electrical safety – AS/NZS60598 (coming) for report to apply for Certificate of Suitability. - ISTMT In Situ LED temperature test - LCP – Lamp Circuit Power including wattage and power factor - AEMO NEM Load Table testing CONSULTING SERVICES - Street Light Performance enhancement to meet your tender requirements - Luminaire design review for compliance and performance. - Consulting on compliance requirements and Suppliers Declarations (SDoCs) for: Safety (ERAC) EMC (ACMA) IPART / VEET. - Consultancy in Environmentally Conscious Design and EU requirements. - Advanced Control System trouble shooting.
