Leeds Student Government is the Leeds School of Business Student Government that strives to serve, support, and represent the student body. The Student Government works to make Leeds a better business school through social, academic, and professional programming.
The official mission of the Leeds Student Government is to enhance the undergraduate student experience. Our activities include supporting Leeds clubs and organizations, executing our own school-wide initiatives, and aligning student interests with those of faculty and administration. We support clubs through funding, strengthening intra-club collaboration, and by providing marketing channels to advertise events. Our own initiatives include organizing community service events, hosting student appreciation days, and providing leadership development workshops. Periodic student surveys ensure we accurately represent the opinions of our peers.
Elected by the student body, we are a motivated, hard-working and passionate team of individuals working to improve the academic, social and professional climate within Leeds. We abide by a utilitarian perspective; thus, we aim to maximize welfare for the greatest number of Leeds stakeholders affected by our decisions.
