Left Field is dedicated to crafting authentic kombucha using the finest ingredients. Our products contain only high-quality, craft-brewed, ethically sourced tea, allowing the natural flavours of the tea leaves to shine through. Drawing from beer brewing and fermented foods, we sought to create a natural, healthier alternative to alcoholic beverages. Originally based in Eyemouth (a town known for its rich tea smuggling history), our passion for kombucha quickly outgrew our coastal home, prompting a move to a larger facility in Livingston, complete with a custom fermentation room. When brewing, we only add three things (tea leaves, sugar, and water) to our natural fermentation culture which is filled with lots of healthy bacteria and acids. We keep it simple, but this is no ordinary brew. Our award-winning handcrafted drinks are stocked from The Ritz in London to an honesty shop in the Outer Hebrides. Naturally low in sugar, calories, gluten free, and vegan, our products are the grown-up alternative to sugary soft drinks, and sit perfectly alongside alcohol alternatives. We have four products in our 'Just Tea' range: Yunnan Black: earthy and smoky, with notes of honey and dates. The perfect match to rich foods, such as curries, pies, and cheese. Sencha Green: zesty and fresh, influenced by the inclement coastal weather, with notes of citrus. Delightful with sushi or spring greens. Oolong: delicate and lightly floral, with notes of elderflower and champagne. Pair with light vegetable forward dishes. Darjeeling: dark, fruity, decadent.
