Mobilizing the law can force key actors to comply with obligations towards climate justice, racial justice, gender justice and socio-economic justice. Such legal mobilization, however, is not self-evident or a-political. It requires deliberate, strategic, bold, and intersectional approaches.
The Legal Mobilization Platform connects researchers and practitioners in their common goal of achieving socio-economic, environmental, gender and racial justice. The Platform will support and strengthen impactful, legitimate forms of legal mobilization and those involved in them in the fields of socio-economic, environmental, gender and racial justice, thus strengthening legal certainty, the rule of law and, ultimately, systemic justice.
