Legal Development Network

Legal Development Network — is a coalition of non-government organizations that develop the local communities though the provision of free legal aid. Today the Network combines the 23 organizations in the 14 regions of Ukraine. These organizations on which base the Network’s offices are created, provide for citizens a basic information on legal issues, actively cooperate with the local government to solve individual problems and to protect the public interest, to implement the alternative variants of conflict resolution, to develop the communities and leadership. Every month more than 3000 people apply for legal aid to the Network’s offices and via its online services. The variety of legal problems is wide from which the Network’s lawyers are working: it’s land, labor, social and family cases. Much attention is given to solve problems of internally displaced persons and veterans of Anti-terrorist operation. We are strengthening the legal possibilities, protecting the human rights and freedoms, developing community.
