The Legionella chip is based on unique DNA technology. The methodology entails finding, in an unbiased manner, specific DNA sequences which are representative of certain characteristics of a micro-organism, such as virulence and pathogenicity.

The objective of LEGYON:
* the exploitation, production, sales and distribution of the Legionella chip;
* the sublicensing of the Legionella chip in the Netherlands, Europe and the USA;
* the development of new applications and products in the field of diagnostics.
