Lehava - Treasury unit that operates to reduce the digital gap in Israeli society. Which ICT centers were established in 13 communities from lower income groups who suffer from, among other things, the digital gap.
Activities proposed in Lehava is rich and varied that exposed the local population to information technology through courses and workshops recognition of the computer and the Internet.
The vision is to reduce the digital gap in Israeli society and providing equal opportunities to different age groups in the population from children to pensioners and allow citizens to acquire the knowledge necessary to consume digital information .
Lehava based on the idea of establishing ICT centers in communities where there is a digital gap compared to based communities. In each center a skilled training team included two classes together contain about 40 computer stations that are connected to broadband internet and a variety of software, courseware, workshops, educational games, Dictionaries and Encyclopedias.
