Leicestershire Construction Training Group

The Leicestershire Construction Training Group (LCTG) is a none-profit organisation funded by the CITB and our members all work within the construction industry. Our aim is to encourage and facilitate training to promote health and safety best practice and reduce accidents and injuries, whilst lowering the cost of training for local businesses and employers. Members of the LCTG receive dedicated support from a Group Training Officer, Matt Neath, whose role is to assist with obtaining information, pricing and potential funding for training required. The objective is to reduce the time and effort it takes for our members to research, book the courses and complete the forms themselves, allowing them to focus on running other aspects of their business. We negotiate group discounts with training providers and pass those savings onto our members. Another key benefit of the group is that we can assist with applications to funding from the CITB; in particular, the Skills and Training fund which aims to help micro and small construction companies deliver high quality learning and development experiences to employees. To become a member of the LCTG, there is an annual nominal fee of £100.00 + VAT; once your membership fee has been received, you can begin to take advantage of all the benefits of being a member.
