Lemba Therapeutics is a biotechnology company that unlocks the therapeutic potential of the non-coding genome. Our goal is to create a new generation of RNA medicines that target long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) to treat inflammation, cancer, metabolic disorders and autoimmune diseases. LncRNAs are powerful regulators of cellular function, inflammation and aging. As lncRNAs are expressed in a disease-specific manner we can target diseased tissues and spare healthy ones, which significantly reduces toxicity risk. To unlock this potential, we built a cutting-edge platform that integrates functional genomics, AI-powered target discovery and high-throughput screening to identify antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) that target lncRNAs. Our scientific team brings interdisciplinary expertise in RNA biology, immunology, clinical biology, and data science, which allows us to explore a vast and largely untapped therapeutic frontier.
