But even as a loyal supporter, she found it unnecessarily complicated and time consuming to find and buy local. Upon speaking to many local business owners, it became clear that they felt overwhelmed by their lack of time, knowledge, and resources to market themselves or improve their online presence. So she made use of her training and experiences as a mobile-first millennial customer, business owner, community leader, content creator, and ERP project manager to help local businesses develop a smooth user discovery and purchasing experience. Lemi’s mission is to build a world where everybody finds, buys, and supports local first.
