LEMIE is the most important European manufacturer of belts with a daily production capacity of around 11.000 pieces; the typical handcrafts in real leather meet the modernity, the efficiency and the high technology of the machineries at our disposal. Our range of products covers men's and ladies classical belts, fashion and casual items, using real leather in all its varieties (split and full grain qualities) and sometimes also leather imitation. Our style department, thanks to the excellent capacity of interpreting and developing the needs of the clients, is able to create bespoke products. This is the base of a mutual profitable cooperation with some of the most important brands and fashion designers, not to mention "private label" collections made exclusively for department stores or chains of stores . Another value offered to the clients is our organization in a vertical system. Our products are completely manufactured in our production unit of Verdello, without the support of sub-contractors. The big advantage is the possibility to control the products in a single production unit, without any further handling; this reduces the risk of damages and protect the privacy of the products developed exclusively for our customers. Furthermore, an efficient and prompt link between our sale staff and the clients offer quick and effective solutions to any problem that may arise. The support of the self-cutting machines allows the production of any kind of samples in a very short time, without further mould costs. Thanks to the competence achieved on the raw material (leather) and thanks to high technology, always in respect of the typical features of handcraft products, LEMIE has now a leading role in the production of belts and in the distribution of leather accessories. LEMIE counts 140 employees. The Head Office is in Verdello, near Bergamo, with a production area of 12.000 sqm.
