They are called the true native New Yorkers and the Lenape homeland included all of New Jersey, northern Delaware, eastern Pennsylvania, and southeastern New York. Some of their place names, such as Manhattan ("the island of many hills") The name Lenni mean "genuine, pure, real, original," and Lenape, meaning "Indian" or "man"or "tribe". The Present: We are building a new age professional LENAPE Tribe. A tribe that holds the same values and principles of integrity because it demands truthfulness and honesty.
