Lena Wäppling's Foundation is the only private foundation in Sweden driving awareness and financing gynecological research to diagnose and treat ovarian cancer. The Foundation is based in Sweden, but is funding research all over the world. We are a registered charity with a 90 account status.
Once a year, Lena Wäppling's Foundation announces funding of scientific research in gynecology, primarily ovarian cancer. Applications can be sent in during the period from October 1st to December 15th each year.
The charity run Lena's Run for Life (Lenas Lopp för Livet) is the foundation's biggest yearly event.
