Lenjoy Medical Engineering, Inc. was established in 1992 and is owned and run by an Occupational therapist, who has over 20 years experience in occupational therapy working with arthritic, geriatric and pediatric patients extensively. Lenjoys staff also includes a team of engineers who have expertise in mechanical, electronic and bio-engineering.
Lenjoy manufactures a full line of Class 1, FDA approved and CE certified orthotics called COMFY SPLINTS, for the hand/wrist, elbow, knee and ankle/foot. Comfy Splints are patented prefabricated static/progressive and dynamic orthopedic rehabilitation splints designed to reduce healthcare costs, reduce re-admissions and most importantly improve a patients clinical outcome. We currently offer both ADULT and PEDIATRIC resting splints popular with Orthotists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, DOR's and Orthopedic Doctors/Surgeons in Rehab settings including, Acute, LTC/SNF, Outpatient/Private Practice clinics, Home Health and Assisted Living. All Comfy Splints have an assigned PDAC/HCPCS code for Insurance Reimbursement.
We have been in business over 20 years and manufacture our products in the USA. We do not sell directly to the public, clinicians or health care facilities. Our products are offered through distributors and DME/Dealers and currently available in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.
In each product, comfort and ease of use are emphasized, as we know that the trend of healthcare is to return the patient home as soon as possible without extended therapy and rehabilitation. Each of our splints is unique, and we take pride in the fact that they are soft and comfortable to wear. The covers are made of high quality cloth with latext free, anti-microbial and moisture wicking material to prevent skin breakdown, as well as obliterate odors. All of the orthotics/splints come in adult and pediatric sizes and many are ambidextrous and available in universal sizing.
