About Lenox Letters
Lenox Letters is a creative team founded by Essence Mason and Simone Smith. The company was started with the intention of exploring a variety of subjects through art created, and presented by themselves as well as their peers. In the middle of their first production ("Drinking From Cups Not Meant For Us"), the creative duo was joined by friend, Malcolm Smith as the third piece of the what would soon became a production team. Lenox Letters has produced five projects, one of which was a 2017 Hope Film Awards Official Selection and another, which was presented in front of audiences during the 2018 Harlem Week and AAWIC Anti Gun Violence Tour. The trio was official joined by filmmaker, Chanel Samuels in 2021. **Recent Works include BQE, The Series (Butch Queen Energy) written by Malcolm Smith.
