It all began with a play on word, a “Savon de Marseille” (the famous soap made in the south of France) that Adrien called a “Savon de Marcel” (Marcel’s soap…). Why Marcel ? Probably because at that time, Adrien had just launched the green website MarcelGreen.com with his friend Mathieu… But this play on word gave birth to an idea. Why not actually make a real “Savon de Marcel”? A soap that would be a concentrate of all the green best practices listed on MarcelGreen.com ? That sounded like a good idea but Mathieu and Adrien knew that being green would not guarantee the success of their soap. It also needed to be creative, well designed and last but not least… good at washing. To do so, 4 brains were better than 2 so Adrien and Mathieu called their friends Jérémie (actor and director) and Benjamin (photograph and art director) on board.
