Let’s Catch Carbon est un programme avec pour objet d’agir pour l’urgence climatique et la biodiversité à travers la promotion d’une transformation agricole par l’agroforesterie, et plus généralement l’Agroécologie, dans les régions rurales de la ceinture subtropicale notamment productrices de café.
Son action s’inscrit en collaboration étroite avec les populations locales, dans laquelle chaque personne a accès aux services de base, peut entreprendre, s’émanciper et assurer son bien-être, celui de sa famille et de sa communauté, en préservant la planète.
En ce sens, Let’s Catch Carbon répond au double-défi de la lutte contre le réchauffement climatique et de la pauvreté à travers l’insertion sociale et économique de personnes en situation de grande précarité.
Elle les aide à entreprendre à travers un modèle économique alliant viabilité et pérennité économiques et préservation des ressources naturelles et de la biodiversité.
Pour réaliser sa mission, l’Association Let’s Catch Carbon développe des actions dans les domaines suivants :
