Founded in 2011 by Mechanical Engineering professors of the University of Pisa, Letomec got the acknowledgment of spin-off Company of the University in 2016. In 2012 an innovative measurement principle was patented by Letomec (HELIOS EP2912452). Letomec srl makes the most of the long-standing experience, gained during decades of academic and industrial consultancy, with the aim of proposing itself as resource for problem solving and innovation. Letomec has years of experience in hydrogen-steel interaction investigations. Moreover, Letomec srl works in the field of design and analysis of components, systems and mechanical plants. In particular, it is committed in selection and validation of constructive solutions and materials. Letomec srl expertise is specific to design involving complex issues (elasto-plastic models, creep, fatigue, fracture, stress corrosion cracking, corrosion-fatigue, etc.) and to solve failure analysis case study and prediction of damages which may affect structures during manufacturing and service life.
