Non-profit with the mission to promote the sustainable use of the Miombo Forest in Mozambique. The objective is to empower communities, advocate for sustainable agricultural practices, foster the development of alternative livelihoods, and encourage the growth of small-scale community-based businesses. Our vision is a flourishing Miombo Woodland ecosystem where both people and nature thrive together. Fundação Levasflor was born out of the experiences in the community development program of the private sector company LevasFlor Lda. It is a FSC-certified (sustainable) forestry company, holding the, fully committed to impactful social responsibility initiatives, including the successful implementation of youth education initiatives and agroforestry programs. Levasflor Lda has 20 years of expertise in engaging with communities in the Sofala province on social and economic initiatives.
