About Us:
Level Up Philly empowers at-risk youth in high-risk Philadelphia neighborhoods, offering counseling, anti-violence and crime intervention, academic support, and housing aid. Since inception, we've impacted 5,000+ youth, invested $510,000 in their development, and served 76,000+ gourmet meals.
Recent Highlights:
Fall 2022 Pepsi Partnership: Hosted a youth tournament promoting competition, teamwork, and resilience.
Healing Garden Initiative: Created a 2,500 sq. ft. garden for youth healing from ongoing violence.
ABC NIGHTLINE Feature: National recognition of our efforts to alleviate youth challenges in Philadelphia.
Mission & Vision:
We aim to address Philadelphia's violence crisis through mentoring and education, aspiring to establish a premier art STEM lab for preparing youth for the global tech-driven job market. Our 12,000 sq ft 'safe space' serves as a refuge for 900+ high-risk youth weekly from 81 different schools, fostering hope and community.
