Our 28 barristers have an extensive range of advocacy and advisory expertise and experience. We are committed to the delivery of practical legal advice and effective advocacy of the highest standards.
Our practice capabilities include commercial litigation, administrative law, professional liability, defamation, intellectual property, taxation, competition and consumer law, insurance, and complex class actions.
We act as advocates, advisers, arbitrators and mediators. We accept briefs from solicitors across the country and from in-house legal departments. Some members also accept briefs to act for direct access clients.
Members of our chambers take a commercial approach combining prompt action with practical advice. This is not just in our traditional role as advocates, but also in giving advice and support to our clients. We take pride in our approachability and our particular willingness to respond promptly when circumstances demand.
A number of members also hold senior academic positions, and regularly teach at leading Australian law schools, in equity and trusts, property law, corporations, and statutory interpretation.
Many of our members also have extensive international experience.
As part of the Australian Independent Bar, we have rights of practice throughout Australia, and regularly appear in Courts and Tribunals throughout the Commonwealth.
