Lewis Development is a general contractor located in Utah Valley. The company was organized in 1997 by Founder and President David A. Lewis. Lewis Development specializes in all types of commercial and residential construction including professional offices, retail, tenant improvements, restaurant, storage units, multi-family, single-family, remodeling, and custom home construction. Lewis Development highlights the value of its work through superior quality and unsurpassed customer service. In 2001, as a result of its focus on quality and customer service, Lewis Development Corporation received the 2001 People’s Choice Award in the Utah Valley Home Builders Association’s (UVHBA) Parade of Homes. In addition, David A. Lewis was named Builder of the Year in 2002 and 2003 by the UVHBA. Company founder David A. Lewis has a rich heritage of roots in the construction industry. David’s grandfather’s, Wayne Cromar and Belden Lewis, were both successful general contractors – Wayne in Salt Lake City and Belden in Cedar City. In 2003 Lewis Development incorporated the name of Arthur Lewis Fine Homes for its custom home division which was derived from forebears William Arthur Jones, who went by Arthur, a businessman and civic leader in Cedar City, and Belden Lewis. Today, Lewis Development represents the tradition and honor of a legacy, and the value of an inspired company pursuing excellence in building. Lewis Development is led by an excellent management team including, David Lewis, President; Mark Peterson, Construction Manager; and Adam Folkman, Project Manager.
