About Us Steve and Jennifer Perry are the owners of Lex Properties and have owned and managed investment property in the Lexington KY area for over 25 years. Steve Perry has been a single-family and multi-family builder and developer in the Lexington KY area since 1990. He has built over 600 homes, developed 100+ acres of land, and constructed several multifamily apartment complexes in his 30 plus year career in the Lexington KY area. Steve believes in delivering quality products while upholding the highest regard of honesty and loyalty to his customers. Jennifer Perry has over 25 years of new construction knowledge in accounting and finance in addition to property management. She has managed all of our property in the Lex Properties portfolio for over 10 years. Jennifer offers knowledge and wisdom in the areas of property management laws, guidelines and best practices. She holds an accounting degree from the University of Kentucky. Company History Lex Properties was founded in 2007 when their son was a sophomore in college. Living in an off-campus house that was host to a litany of problems, Steve and Jennifer began to see an opportunity to improve underperforming off-campus housing. They purchased their first property in the spring of 2007 and August of that year began serving their first tenants. Today they serve 200+ tenants in over 70 off-campus houses and apartments around the University of Kentucky campus and South Lexington. Their mission is to provide affordable housing to customers that they themselves would live in.
