Lexion is a mechanical and aerospace engineering R&D company based in Greece. By working from first principles, we engineer novel, tailored solutions that are not bound by existing technologies and carry disruptive potential across both emerging and established industries. Our crown jewel is the APEX (Airbreathing Pulsed EXplosions) engine — a paradigm shift in high-power applications, offering both rapid response and exceptional adaptability across a wide range of operating conditions. We envision a truly reusable spaceplane capable of reaching hypersonic speeds in airbreathing mode, then transitioning seamlessly into rocket mode to exit the atmosphere. This approach will not only drastically reduce the cost per kilogram to orbit, but also enable a new kind of launch infrastructure — one that more closely resembles an airport, allowing for frequent, flexible, and low-cost operations.
